Three days of signature tastings
San Diego Food + Wine Festival Grand Weekend runs November 7–9, 2025 as the festival’s signature tasting stretch. The festival is presented as a weeklong event centered on food, wine, and culture, and its description frames it as an international showcase for wineries, breweries, chefs, and artisanal purveyors.
Grand Decant and Grand Tasting
The Grand Decant / Opening Night on November 7 features 60+ wineries with dishes from Michelin-starred and James Beard Award–winning or nominated chefs. The Grand Tasting on November 8 expands to 300+ chefs, restaurants, wineries, breweries, distilleries, and specialty food purveyors offering unlimited food and beverage samples.
The Grand Tasting also includes the Chef of the Fest competition, mixology demonstrations, and live entertainment.
