    About the event

Modern and contemporary galleries at the Grand Palais

Art Paris 2027 is the fair’s 29th edition at the Grand Palais in Paris. It brings together modern and contemporary art exhibitors, with an exclusive VIP program for collectors and art professionals. Program information also describes around 170 French and international galleries.

    Australia and the French scene

Australia is invited as guest of honour for the first time. The focus is selected by Daria de Beauvais and highlights the country’s contemporary art scene, including Indigenous and non-Indigenous practices and voices. The fair also explores the French scene through “Multitudes – The Social Fabric,” a theme that looks at solidarity, society, the political body, and the artist’s role in how groups see and act together.

    Histories and Promises

The edition launches Histories, a new sector that re-examines work from the 1960s to the 1990s through a contemporary lens. The fair describes this as a way to revisit modern projects through retro-perspectives, while considering different periods, contexts, singular artists, and misunderstood art movements. Promises returns to the Grand Palais balconies as the sector for emerging international talent, with participating galleries able to present up to three artists under the curatorial direction of Marc Donnadieu.

    Admission

Standard admission is listed at €33 on Thursday and Friday, and €38 on Saturday and Sunday. Admission is free for children under 10 years old. The fair is organized by Art Paris.
