Bar in Lyon, France

Memory Club is worth tracking for retro gaming, VHS nostalgia, and arcade culture rather than food or cocktail certainty. Plan to eat first, then use it as a casual Villeurbanne hang for groups, dates, or Lyon regulars who want something less conventional than a standard bar.
About Memory Club
Memory Club is a venue in Lyon. Beyond the name and city, Pearl has no confirmed details on its format, menu, drinks, hours, pricing, location within the city, or booking process, so it should not be described more specifically here. Without confirmed information, framing it as a bar, restaurant, club, event space, or other defined stop would be misleading. Treat this listing as a starting point for further checking, not a complete recommendation.
The reason to go is not yet verified
For now, Memory Club is safest to treat as a Lyon venue with limited confirmed public detail. Do not plan around a specific cuisine, cocktail program, entertainment format, opening schedule, address, or service style unless you confirm those details directly before going. The listing’s practical value is cautious: it identifies a Lyon venue, but does not yet explain what experience to expect on arrival.
If you are building a night out in Lyon and want clearer planning context, also consider Café Arsène Garet-Opéra or Contrast. Use Memory Club only after checking current details directly, especially if your plans depend on timing, group size, a particular mood, or knowing whether food, drinks, or reservations are part of the experience.
Who should choose it over another Lyon venue
Choose Memory Club only if you are comfortable with limited information and willing to confirm practical details yourself. If you need a known drinks list, food offering, atmosphere, reservation policy, or exact location, compare other Lyon options before committing. It may suit a flexible planner investigating possibilities, but it is not best relied on without direct confirmation.
For planning beyond one venue, Pearl’s Lyon guides can help compare broader options: restaurants, hotels, bars, wineries, and experiences. Those pages are more useful when you need clearer category, context, and itinerary fit.

Bar context
How it compares in Lyon
Memory Club is the format play: pick it when the activity matters as much as the drink. You, Café Arsène Garet-Opéra, and Le Dôme Bar are safer choices for a conventional bar night because their appeal is not tied to a pre-opening concept.
For ambiance, Le Péristyle and Contrast are better cross-shops if the group wants drinks first and entertainment second. Memory Club makes more sense for low-pressure plans, especially if booking difficulty stays easy after launch.
Value depends on whether guests will use the arcade, VHS, and workshop elements. If not, choose Café Arsène Garet-Opéra or Contrast instead; if yes, Memory Club offers a clearer reason to leave central Lyon for Villeurbanne.
