The modern grey façade of Hotel Beore makes a striking impression against its natural setting on the shores of Taiwan’s largest alpine lake, Sun Moon Lake. Inside rooms are equally contemporary with concrete walls, sleek black lighting and clean lines which highlight the contrasting verdant mountain views. Facilities include a bar, café and a restaurant which serves Western-inspired dishes crafted with local produce, and for some R&R time there’s a rooftop pool with more sweeping views.
