About Hotel 28 Myeongdong
Founded by Shin Young-kyun, formerly a leading man in South Korea’s film industry, Hotel 28 is infused with the old-world glamour of cinema. The luxury boutique hotel, centrally located in Seoul’s bustling Myeongdong neighborhood, features photogenic interiors that would function well as a film set. Its sleek suites have monochromatic decor, large circular mirrors, retro lamps, framed stills from old black-and-white movies, and dramatic glass-encased white marble baths or walk-in showers right in the middle of the room. Rounding out the hotel’s offerings are modern Korean fusion restaurant Congdu Myeongdong and a stylish library with a film projector.
