About Art Series - The Larwill Studio
The North Melbourne suburb of Parkville is the venue for The Larwill Studio, a member of Australia’s Art Series boutique hotels — this one dedicated to the work of the Victoria-born painter David Larwill. As is the norm in the Art Series hotels, the artist’s work adorns both the guest rooms and the public spaces, and the interior design takes its cues from his work as well, brightening its monochrome backgrounds with motifs, forms, and colors from Mr. Larwill’s work. The hotel offers art tours and its own art library, as well as The Farmacy, an all-day farm-to-table restaurant and bar.
