About Felder Alpin Lodge
Sitting just above the town of Villanders at an altitude of 1,200 meters, Felder Alpin Lodge is an exclusive-use retreat surrounded by some incredible Dolomites views. The centuries-old mountain farmhouse has been authentically restored by three passionate local owners, who have retained the traditional Alpine style whilst adding in thoughtful contemporary touches such as Italian designer lamps and furnishings picked up from travels to Bali and Morocco. Guests can take over the “Black Kitchen” to show off their own culinary skills with fresh ingredients brought in by local farmers, or sit back, relax and let the lodge’s private chef take you on a gastronomic tour through the region, or further afield. Other lodge facilities include the original stube lounge, a ski room, a Finnish sauna, haybeds for yoga classes, and an underground wine cellar, as well as four hectares of meadow for taking in the panoramic mountain views. Felder’s experiences also immerse guests in South Tyrol, whether through traditions such as hay bathing and butter churning, embarking on a guided glacier tour, local wine tasting, or even building an igloo.
