About Vincci Molviedro
Red-light districts, like Paris’s Pigalle or Amsterdam’s De Wallen, have traditionally occupied prime real estate in European cities. The same is true in Seville, where a one-time row of brothels is now home to Vincci Molviedro, a series of connected buildings on a tree-shaded plaza. The location isn’t just central, it’s fantastically central for exploring the city, and the history is fascinating. Sections of the city’s original Islamic walls are visible in the lobby, and the previously run-down interiors have been thoroughly restored and decorated with traditional Andalusian textiles and hand-painted ceramic tile. Rooms are elegant and simply furnished; many have private balconies or patios. The rooftop terrace features open-air lounge space and a small pool, a particularly refreshing luxury in one of the hottest cities on the continent.
