About Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh
A lot of big business hotels claim to occupy a “privileged” position, or offer a “unique” or even a “commanding” view. In the case of the Four Seasons Riyadh, though, it’s a tough proposition to argue with. It’s a part of the Kingdom Tower, an award-winning, vaguely bottle-opener-shaped 99-story skyscraper. And though the hotel only goes about halfway up, the view is still certifiably commanding — the Kingdom Tower doesn’t just dominate the skyline, it is the skyline. Luxury hotels in the Arab world are a conservative lot, no matter how opulent — the Toronto-based Four Seasons group is a perfect fit. Colors are muted and everything’s impeccably tasteful, clothing the lavish rooms and suites in a rather unassuming look. It would be hard to compete with the view, anyway. It’s a business traveler’s paradise, with all the boxes checked: 24-hour business center, internet everywhere, and long hours in the pool, spa and gym. There are a handful of dining options on-site if you’re pressed for time, and the neighborhood offers many more, plus some of the best shopping Riyadh has to offer. Don’t miss the top-floor skybridge, for the near-infinite views. How to get there: All major international and domestic airlines serve King Khaled International Airport, which is about 30 minutes from the hotel. This airport is served by Emirates, Cathay Pacific, British Airways, Air France, Lufthansa and Saudia, which provides commuter service from Jeddah and Dammam daily.
