About Glenlo Abbey Hotel
This 18th-century estate on 200 acres at Lough Corrib's edge sits three miles from Galway city. The original house connects to an abbey tower and a newer wing. Dining happens in two antique Orient Express carriages now serving as the Pullman restaurant, or the River Room, with buttermilk pancakes at breakfast. Palmer's Bar does Achill lamb and aged steaks. The grounds offer falconry, fishing (tackle provided), a nine-hole golf course, and a cinema running twice-daily screenings. GLO Spa handles signature treatments. Rooms feature marble bathrooms and estate views.
