# Pearl > Pearl is the curated travel passport for the world's most exceptional restaurants, hotels, bars, and wineries. Pearl surfaces editorially-vetted venues with detailed reviews, awards context, and curated lists drawn from the Michelin Guide, World's 50 Best Restaurants, James Beard Foundation, La Liste, Wine Spectator, and other authoritative sources. The site is organized by venue type, public event, and curated list. Each venue page carries editorial copy, an awards summary, and links to the curated lists and upcoming public events associated with it. Event pages provide source-backed dates, places, hosts, prices when published, and official ticket links. List pages aggregate venues by theme (e.g., Asia's 50 Best Restaurants 2026, World's 50 Best Hotels) and link to the underlying venue detail pages. Award pages describe the awarding organization and the venues it has recognized. ## Venue Categories - [Restaurants](https://joinpearl.co/restaurants): The world's most exceptional restaurants, including Michelin-starred fine dining, Worlds 50 Best honorees, and other globally recognized destinations. - [Hotels](https://joinpearl.co/hotels): Luxury hotels and resorts curated for hospitality, design, and location. - [Bars](https://joinpearl.co/bars): Cocktail bars, wine bars, and speakeasies recognized for craft and atmosphere. - [Wineries](https://joinpearl.co/wineries): Wineries and estates from the world's most renowned wine regions. - [For Venues](https://joinpearl.co/venues): Pearl's early-access Guest Intelligence Suite for hospitality partners. This is a product information page, not the all-venue browse index. ## Per-Category Structured Data Each canonical venue detail page emits the following JSON-LD scripts in the initial HTML (before any JavaScript runs): - **Restaurants** at `/restaurants/{city}/{slug}` — `Restaurant` entity (with `servesCuisine`, `hasMenu`, `priceRange`, `acceptsReservations`, `potentialAction.ReserveAction`, `address`, `geo`, `award`); plus `WebPage`, `BreadcrumbList`, `Organization` + `WebSite` references and conditional `FAQPage` markup. - **Hotels** at `/hotels/{city}/{slug}` — `Hotel` entity (with `numberOfRooms`, `checkinTime`, `checkoutTime`, `priceRange`, `amenityFeature`, `containsPlace` for in-house F&B, `containedInPlace.City`, `brand` or `parentOrganization`, `potentialAction.ReserveAction → LodgingReservation`); plus the same WebPage / BreadcrumbList / Org / WebSite / FAQPage frame. - **Bars** at `/bars/{city}/{slug}` — `BarOrPub` entity (with `hasMenu`, `acceptsReservations`, `potentialAction.ReserveAction`, `address`, `geo`, `award`); same frame. - **Wineries** at `/wineries/{city}/{slug}` — `Winery` entity (with `additionalProperty` for varietals + appellation, `acceptsReservations`, `address`, `geo`, `award`); same frame. Where Pearl explicitly enables editorial Review schema for a venue with a visible Pearl Take, the Review is qualitative and carries no aggregate rating. Review schema is conditional and should not be assumed for every venue. User-aggregate ratings are not emitted today as `aggregateRating`. ## Discovery - [Explore](https://joinpearl.co/explore): Interactive map-based discovery of restaurants, hotels, bars, and wineries. - [Events](https://joinpearl.co/events): Public dining, wine, travel, and hospitality events, organized into city directories at `/events/{city}` and canonical detail pages at `/events/{city}/{slug}`. - [Lists](https://joinpearl.co/lists): Curated venue lists drawn from authoritative awards and rankings. - [Awards](https://joinpearl.co/awards): The awards and rating bodies Pearl tracks — Michelin Guide, World's 50 Best, James Beard, La Liste, and others. - [Hotel Groups](https://joinpearl.co/hotel-groups): Every luxury hotel group and collection Pearl tracks, each with its own hub page listing all of that group's properties. - [Restaurant Groups](https://joinpearl.co/restaurant-groups): Restaurant groups and chef-led collections, each with a hub page listing all of that group's venues. Group hub pages live at `/hotel-groups/{slug}` and `/restaurant-groups/{slug}`. Each one carries a CollectionPage with an ItemList of the group's locations (`numberOfItems` is the true total; the list itself carries the first 50), a FAQPage, a BreadcrumbList, and an Organization describing the group. The full member inventory is present in the server-rendered HTML as links, so no client JavaScript is needed to read a group's complete list of properties. ## Event Structured Data Canonical public event pages emit an `Event` entity, a linked `WebPage`, and a `BreadcrumbList` in the initial server-rendered HTML. The Event includes only published source fields: `name`, `startDate`, `location`, image and description when present, `offers` only when a real price exists, and organizer or performer entities only when structured people data identifies those roles. Event and venue entities share canonical identifiers when an event has a routable Pearl venue. No gated, deleted, package, slugless, or dateless event is exposed. ## Editorial - [Blog](https://joinpearl.co/blogs): Editorial coverage of new openings, award announcements, and travel features. - [Team](https://joinpearl.co/team): Pearl's founders, Austin Burgess (co-founder and CEO) and Emmett Haley (co-founder and president). ## Pearl AI Pearl AI is the concierge inside the Pearl app. A member asks it for a place, and it answers from the logged visits of the people that member follows and from the places the member has rated, rather than from the open web. It then makes the booking on the member's behalf (agentic booking). Pearl AI is part of the invite-only Pearl app, not a separate product; "Pearl AI", "Pearl app" and "Pearl Travel" all refer to Pearl (joinpearl.co). Pearl is unrelated to other companies named Pearl, such as the dental-imaging AI. ## The Pearl app - [Pearl on the App Store](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/pearl-discover-access-book/id6751026908): iOS app. - [Pearl on Google Play](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.epclub.app): Android app. The app stores list the developer as EP Club LLC, the former name of Pearl LLC. It is the same company and the same app as joinpearl.co. ## About - [About Pearl](https://joinpearl.co/about): What Pearl is, how it works, key facts, and FAQ. - [Editorial Standards](https://joinpearl.co/editorial-standards): How Pearl evaluates venues and what each award classification means. - [Privacy Policy](https://joinpearl.co/privacy): Pearl privacy policy. - [Support](https://joinpearl.co/support): Help with Pearl accounts and connected AI agents. - [Terms](https://joinpearl.co/terms): Terms of use. ## Optional - [Sitemap](https://joinpearl.co/sitemap.xml): Complete XML sitemap of all canonical venue, public event, event city, list, and editorial URLs, including event hero-image references where published. - [RSS Feed](https://joinpearl.co/rss.xml): Latest editorial guides in RSS format. ## La Fête du Champagne 2026 - [New York City program, October 14–17](https://joinpearl.co/experiences/la-fete-du-champagne-new-york-2026): Individual events, venues, local times and package details. - [Chicago program, October 22–24](https://joinpearl.co/experiences/la-fete-du-champagne-chicago-2026): Individual events, venues, local times and package details.
